Dave Thomas is the voice and founder of Servants of Christ Ministry. A 1975 graduate of Kentucky Christian University (KCU), he earned both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s degree in Bible and Ministry.
Following his studies, Dave began serving as a Youth & Christian Education Minister. Later that year, he was ordained into the ministry by his father, Sheldon Thomas—also a minister and KCU graduate—at First Christian Church in Martins Ferry, Ohio.
Since his ordination, Dave has dedicated his life to preaching, teaching, and singing alongside his wife, Becky, under the name “Servants of Christ.” Through this ministry, he has:
- Rebuilt five churches and started four new congregations.
- Served as a Hospice Chaplain, offering spiritual care to those in need.
- Established a Tape/CD Ministry, distributing thousands of free tapes and CDs every year to share the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Produced five weekly, one-hour Bible study radio programs, reaching countless listeners with God’s Word.
Becky Thomas is a Registered Nurse (RN) and Certified Hospice & Palliative Care Nurse, passionately serving the terminally ill and their families. Throughout her career, she has held key leadership roles, including:
- Director of Long-Term Care Services at Hospice Care, Inc. of West Virginia.
- Administrator of Medi Home Health & Hospice in Boone, North Carolina.
- Hospice Care Plus’ Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Kentucky.
- On Call Triage Nurse The multiple States.
Becky is also a tireless advocate for the rights of the terminally ill. She played a key role in crafting House Bill #2944 in the West Virginia Legislature, which focuses on end-of-life care for residents in skilled nursing facilities. This bill became law on July 1, 2007. (House Bill #2944)
